PROJECT: Clay Figure Series

DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT: The challenge of this project was to create a series of, at least two, hand-sculpted, clay characters that cohesively belong together on a page spread in the toy designer’s book titled, “I Am Plastic.” CHALK STEWIE and pet dog RORO are the result of this project. CHALK STEWIE is hand-made, clay sculpture character coated in chalkboard paint. He is kind enough to hold your pencil, pen or marker for you while you work on your computer. Use his funky brain or pizza slice pencil/pen topper to add a little bit of character to CHALK STEWIE. RORO is a hand-made, clay-sculpture, animal coated in chalkboard paint as well. He is CHALK STEWIE’S right hand dog. There isn’t a moment in the day where RORO isn’t next to CHALK STEWIE’S side. They have the best adventures together and do everything together. He is the definition of a man’s best friend.
