The design of this presentation and specimen sheet explores ‘Secret Garden’ as a display font. Michael Mohammad, the creator of Secret Garden, had been heavily influenced by the novel, The Secret Garden, when designing this typeset. The classic novel written in 1909 by Frances Hodgson Burnett, tells the story of a young girl who’s curiosity of a forgotten garden leads to the discovery other secrets hidden in the manor as well as secrets within herself. This display type features a fresh, green interpretation of what a secret garden should look like. Inspired by floral elements, the Secret Garden typeset elicits an enchanted feeling by combining floral silhouettes with a clean serif characters. This set is a clean, minimalistic, representation of a fun display font that one would use for artistic designs, titles, or any project pertaining to nature, flowers or gardening.
